Even though we are currently in a home we love, I know it's not our forever home. Right honey? Whenever I see photos of things I would absolutely love in my dream home, I pin them for later. I try to find some elements in the room that I can incorporate into our current home. Don't we all have lists of what we would want in our dream home?
Take this master bathroom for instance. I love the modern feel of it. It has a dark stained vanity but the rest of the room is light and bright. It has a wonderful skylight, walk in shower, and storage above the tub. Do you see all the marble tile throughout? Yes, please.

The first thing I searched for was a vanity in the furniture category. The vanity is one of the main pieces in the room and grounds the bathroom. You know I love dark furniture, so espresso was a must which is what drew me in with the inspiration picture. I chose this vanity from the collection. Storage is a must in the bathroom and this one has cabinet space and a drawer.
Next up was the mirror. Framed mirrors give a finished look to me. They aren't just floating on the wall. This mirror is an espresso finish as well.
Another element I liked about this bathroom is the sconces on the wall. In my current bathroom we have bar lights above the mirrors so this is a different look for me. I've read that sconces are better and don't cast such a shadow as bar lights since they are more on the side of your face and not above. The sconce I chose is very similar to the inspiration picture.
The faucets in the inspiration picture are chrome and more traditional. The faucet I found has the same feel with double handles and the curved spout.
When you come across a photo of a room you love, remember you can pull it off too. What you can put together may not be identical, but can come pretty close. I would hope your room would be better since you are putting your own spin to it and making it more to fit your home.
